HIS GOOD AND PERFECT PLAN

I was born into a poor fishing family with four siblings. Our home was often marked by hardship and fear. My father struggled with alcohol and repeatedly abused my mother, until one day she could endure it no longer. With great courage, she left him and took all of us children with her. We left our hometown with no destination, no money, and no relatives to turn to.
With nowhere to stay, my mother sought shelter at a monastery. By the grace of Jesus Christ, there was an orphanage nearby called COSI. Through God’s provision, my two brothers and I were taken into the orphanage, while my youngest sister, who was only three years old, stayed with my mother.
I am deeply thankful to the donors who supported COSI through their generosity and prayers. Because of them, we had shelter, food, clothing, and education. More importantly, we heard the gospel of Jesus Christ. It was there that salvation came to everyone who lived in the home, including me.
After completing Grade 12, I enrolled at the National University of Management to study economics. However, I lacked patience and a clear sense of purpose. During my second year, I left my studies and began working. Although I was busy, my heart felt lonely and directionless.
During that season, I began spending quiet time with God. I read His Word, prayed, and attended Saturday and Sunday services at Antioch Methodist Church. As time passed, a passage from Ecclesiastes spoke deeply to my heart and helped me understand that life apart from God’s purpose is empty.
I began praying earnestly and asked God for clarity. I said, “Lord, if You are truly calling me to be a pastor, please give me three signs.” God answered my prayer. Through His clear guidance, I enrolled in the Cambodian Methodist Bible School. After four years of study, sustained by the Lord and supported by many faithful people, I graduated.

Today, I am serving as a pastor at Antioch Methodist Church. I thank Almighty God for His good and perfect plan in preparing my life for His mission. To everyone who has supported me along the way, I will never forget your kindness. I remember you in my prayers, and I pray that God will care for you and be with you always.
Amen.
