A GREATER LOVE

Hello, everyone. My name is Ja-Oh. First of all, I would like to give all glory to God and thank Him for giving me the opportunity to stand here today and share my testimony.

I was born and raised in a loving family. I was surrounded by the love and care of my parents and relatives. My life was simple, and I was always protected and cared for by the adults around me. Because of this, I used to think that I already had everything I needed in life.

However, when I was 30 years old, after getting married and moving to another province to live with my husband, my life began to change. God led me to meet many Christians. What impressed me was not only what they said, but also the way they lived. Their lives reflected God's love. They showed me kindness, sincerity, and genuine love without expecting anything in return.

That made me begin to ask myself, "Who is the God they believe in?" That question became the starting point of my journey to seek and know Him. When I decided to come to God, I removed the necklace that carried the sacred object I had worshipped for many years because I chose to place all my faith and hope in God alone.

Over the next two years, I studied the Bible, lived in fellowship with my brothers and sisters in Christ, and continually received encouragement from the church. The more I came to know God, the more I realised that His Word truly has the power to transform lives.

God did not only change the circumstances around me. He changed my heart. He taught me how to forgive, to be humble, to trust Him, and to live with hope.

Although I am not wealthy in material things, my heart is now filled with peace, security, and joy that I had never experienced before. I once thought I already knew what love was because I grew up in a warm and loving family.

But today, I have come to know a far greater love: the love of God.

A love without conditions.

A love that never abandons us.

A love so great that He gave His only Son to save a sinner like me.

Because of this, I am confident that no matter what happens in my life, I will never walk alone, for God is always with me.

Today, being baptised does not mean that I have become a perfect person. Rather, it is my public declaration that I have decided to follow Jesus Christ and entrust the rest of my life into His hands. I believe that the Holy Spirit dwells within me, guiding me, teaching me, strengthening me, and transforming my life day by day.

Finally, I would like to encourage anyone who is searching for the truth or looking for hope in life. If you are willing to open your heart to God, He can transform your life, just as He has transformed mine.

"I can do all things through him who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13 (ESV)

May all the glory be to God alone.

Thank you, and God bless you.
