I would like to share a testimony of how our God is sovereign over us.
After we had our teachers’ orientation at the new school site on 9 January 2024, there was an extremely heavy rain. Soon, a flash flood was formed in Metinaro where our container classrooms are. Our new school buildings were spared as the ground is higher.
We rushed to the container classrooms immediately and found that some of our books, resources, and student welcome pack resources were submerged in water. We quickly tried our best to move them up to a higher ground.
The next day, we checked and surveyed the damage. To our surprised, the damage was ZERO!!! We just had to dry off those things.
A box containing new Bibles was totally wet. However, when we opened up the box, the Bibles were individually wrapped in plastic and none was destroyed. It turned out that all those boxes that were wet were protected somehow in plastic.
When the flood happened, everyone was very affected. That was because they had just moved everything into the container classrooms the day before. However, God’s goodness showed up in unexpected ways. And the timing was perfect as the teachers’ orientation just ended and there was enough manpower to move the boxes to a higher ground.
