Project Metamorphosis PLUS is about the transformation of lives in relation to prayer. Transformation happens because God answers our prayers - not only for the people and situations we prayed for but also for those who prayed. In His good time, God will answer our prayers offered in alignment with His divine will and purpose.
The new year comes with a host of challenges and opportunities such as climate change resulting in severe weather conditions; conflicts between nations that created mistrust among politicians; efforts to contain the spread of the COVID-19 virus globally; and the fierce and oftentimes unfair competition in the socio-economic marketplace affecting employment and livelihood of millions of people, to name a few.
While the global outlook remained cautious about a return to pre-pandemic days, the church of God must stand tall and radiate the message of hope for a better world to come, if not for the immediate near future, at least in the new world that God has promised.
No effort should be spared to address the multitude of issues before us. We need God’s wisdom to navigate meaningfully and successfully through these tumultuous waters. As I prayed over these concerns, the Lord brought His Word to me:
Look at the nations and watch— and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told.
Habakkuk 1:5, NIV
I believe God will reveal His plans for the church and humanity. We stand in the gap as we pray to God to help us watch the unfolding of “something in our days.” I encourage you to join the hearts of all intercessors that we might “be utterly amazed.”
