MMS LOGO
The new MMS Logo design is based on the well-known symbol of an Ichthys (commonly known as the Jesus fish). The early Ichthys symbol was created by combining the Greek letters ΙΧΘΥΣ (Ichthys), which translates into English as “Jesus Christ, God, Son, Saviour”. Simple, modern and stylistic design of an Ichthys and a cross reminds us of Jesus’ commission to His disciples with the words, “I will make you fishers of men”. It is a simple message that Jesus Christ is the Saviour. The blue cross in the centre of the logo denotes Jesus Christ as the centre of our ministry. Blue and red are the colours of The Methodist Church in Singapore.
