Many children in the region are desperately poor, orphaned or abandoned. Like other children, they need love, home security and education. They also need to know the Lord as early as possible.

Many of these children wander the streets where they scavenge through rubbish dump for things to sell.

To many of these children, education is the lowest priority. Going to school remains a dream.



MMS has developed 2 Student Sponsorship Schemes to aid these children:

- Student Sponsorship Scheme (Non Residential) @ S$30 per month (minimum 12 months commitment). For the needy students in
       + Cambodia
       + Nepal
       + Thailand

- Student Sponsorship Scheme (Residential) @ S$90 per month (minimum 12 months commitment). For the needy children in
       + Community Outreach Services Immanuel (COSI) Children's Village (Cambodia)
       + Emmaus Women's Centre (Cambodia)
       + Nanjing Children Home (China)
       + Sophia's Home (Nepal)
       + Mettakij Hostel (Thailand)
These children stay in these homes operated by MMS missionaries.

The Sponsorship ensures that these children will have their physical, emotional, educational and spiritual needs provided for.

For practical administrative purposes, we collect a uniform, average amount ($30/month or $90/month, regardless of country). In some cases, this amount is not enough for the student. In other cases, it is more than enough. Your contribution goes into a pool that will be used to assist all the students under our care.
