Volunteers' Appreciation Night 2012 3 February 2012 (Friday)	In appreciation of your partnership, MMS cordially invites you to the Volunteers’ Appreciation Night 2012 on 3 February 2012 (Friday) at 6pm at Sophia Blackmore Hall, Level 6, The Methodist Centre, 70 Barker Road, S(309936). Programme includes: - Buffet dinner - Worship - Games - Sharing - Prayer You are welcome to bring along other potential volunteers who may want to partner MMS. Kindly RSVP by 20 January 2012 so that we know how much food to prepare.

Teaching English as a Foreign Language: A Guide for Training Teachers 7 February 2012 (Tuesday) and 16 March 2012 (Friday)	The guide book is available at S$25 to those who attend a complimentary 2½-hour training session on its effective use. All proceeds go to MMS. The next training sessions are planned for 7 February 2012 (Tuesday) and 16 March 2012 (Friday) 7pm at James Thoburn Meeting Room, Level 3/3U, The Methodist Centre, 70 Barker Road, S(309936). Those who plan to attend, please contact MMS office immediately.

Vacation With A Mission 27 February 2012 (Monday) to 1 March 2012 (Thursday)	MMS is organising an exploratory trip to Chiang Mai, Thailand. Explore the beauty of Nthanon National Park and go on a cultural tour in Karen Village. Visit the local home industry and watch traditional dance performance. Teach-to-Reach Course 6 March to 1 May 2012	The Education Missions Committee announced through Harvest Force 2010 Issue 2 (November) that we would stop offering Teach-to-Reach course as of 2011. However, recently, we have received enquiries about when we should start teaching this course of which the main objective is to equip Christians who are interested to serve in mission fields in reaching out to the locals through the teaching of English. Due to renewed interest and demand, we plan to offer this course starting 6 March 2012 (Tuesday) for a class of 20. The course will be conducted by Ms Dorothy Cheong at James Thoburn Room, Level 3/3U, The Methodist Centre, 70 Barker Road, S(309936). The cost for the 9-week course including a textbook, file materials and snacks is S$250 per person. For enrollment, please contact MMS office.
